COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Dallan LP is a partnership between Lac des Milles Lacs First Nation, Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nation and Dale Levesque, a member of the Fort William First Nation.
Dallan LP is a 100% Aboriginal owned business that provides industrial yard services which includes a variety of heavy equipment operations, maintenance and general labour.
Dallan LP currently has four separate contracts/ operations in Northwestern Ontario. Dallan LP is committed to the needs of its customers while ensuring the Health & Safety of all its employees and Environmental compliance.

Lac des Milles Lacs First Nation
LDMLFN Reserve 22A1 is located approximately 135 km west of Thunder Bay, ON. LDMLFN Reserve 22A2 is located approximately 20 km west of the township of Upsala, Ontario.
LDMLFN is a signatory to Treaty #3 under the Shebandowan-Adhesion in 1873. The First Nation is the furthest east of the communities within the 55,000 sq miles of Treaty #3 territory which begins near the Height of Land. Much of the First Nation's Traditional Lands are located and overlapping within the Robinson-Superior and NAN Treaty lands. The current population of registered Band Members is 603.

Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nation
Located in Northwestern Ontario and is 40 kilometres(kms) east of Fort Frances. The community is situated 300 kms west of Thunder Bay, 300 kms east of Winnipeg and approximately 500 kms or 290 Miles north of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
It is relatively isolated physically and economically from mainstream Canada. While isolated from Canada in this capacity, the area is rich culturally in the vast history of the Ojibwe people in the area.
The First Nation has approximately 130 members living on a territory of 4,800 hectares.
Dale Levesque
Born in Marathon, Ontario and a member of Fort William First Nation, after operating heavy equipment in the mining sector in the Marathon area for several years, in 2003 he was hired as a heavy equipment operator by North American Mill Yard Services who was the heavy equipment contractor at the Bowater Thunder Bay Sawmill.
He was quickly promoted to site manager and eventually purchased the company in 2010.
Dale is the managing partner of Dallan LP and currently holds the position of General Manager.
